Find a job you’ll love today!As a Fraud Specialist at Everise, you will identify possible fraudulent activity. You would accomplish this by reviewing all orders placed with our client’s online store and all warranty returns processed by support agents. You would also review cases escalated by support agents that appear suspicious and determine the appropriate next steps.This is an onsite position. Must be located in or willing to travel to the site in Austin, TX 78729Responsibilities include:Review pending transactions and make approve/decline decisions in a CNP environmentCall cardholders to verify orders when applicableContact the warehouse to cancel suspicious orders and request return to sender for unauthorized orders in transitInvestigate suspicious behavior inquiries from Customer Support RepresentativesFlag unauthorized transactions in the payment gateway and other fraud software programsPerform ad hoc fraud/billing requests as neededEscalate new fraud trends so that rules can be implemented in the fraud toolEscalate suspicious fraud domains to be manually flaggedProvide recommendations for policies and procedures regarding fraud-related itemsReport any issues that may require further research from engineering and related teamsVerify customers using 3rd party search toolsReturn calls to cardholders requesting more information regarding unauthorized chargesQualifications:High School Diploma or GEDMinimum of 1-year experience in an e-commerce fraud prevention rolePossess a solid understanding of how card data is stolen, shared, and usedHave an understanding of billing, shipping, and general eCommerce ordering systems and protocolsNeed an understanding of chargebacks, aka bank disputesProactive to identify root causes of issues by analyzing patterns and trends through data analysisPrevious experience handling technical issues within a call center environmentExcellent customer service skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong decision-making and critical-thinking skillsCustomer service focus with the ability to partner with internal/external contactsPrevious analytical experience with a high aptitude for research, analysis, and problem-solving skillsHigh level of technical troubleshooting acumenExperience using Google Suite, specifically Google SheetsFlexibility -schedule and hours may vary to fit the business needsAbility to pass a background check and drug screen#cbWe’re here to make a difference: we’re not just another call center; we’re changing how support and client relationships are viewed for the future.If you’ve got the skills to succeed and the motivation to make it happen, we look forward to hearing from you.
