• Working for one of the top 5 leaders in Texas Healthcare GC’s in Central Texas
• Large backlog of Healthcare and retail projects for the next few years

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the contract documents, schedule (including the sequencing/phasing of the project and those activities that comprise the critical path on the project), staffing, project estimate and the coordination of project personnel.
• Perform performance evaluations for all personnel assigned to this position.
• Establish, implement, manage and enforce the Safety Program and the Site Specific Safety Plan on the project and OSHA Guidelines as necessary to provide a safe work environment for the personnel on site as well as other personnel that may be directly affected by the project.
• Establish, implement, manage and enforce the Quality Assurance Program and comprehensive quality control that enforces the requirements of the contract specifications, drawings and industry standards.
• Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and contract documents.
• Establish an effective and professional on-site working relationship with the owner, architects, engineers and inspectors related to the project.
• Prepare and distribute Project Daily Reports which are to contain information related to, but not be limited to crew sizes, manpower count, detailed description of work performed by area/floor for each trade partner as well as equipment used, weather conditions, construction progress, issues, delays and verbal directives.
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of Critical Path Method and Lean Process Scheduling with the ability to apply this knowledge to building, maintaining and updating a thorough and accurate Project Schedule.
• Monitor the development of the project expediting log and ensure that staff is updating the log weekly.

• 5 – 8 years of Superintendent experience
• Required: Healthcare project experience
• Preferred: Retail project experience
• OSHA 30 certificate or ability to attain it within 12 months of hire.
• $5M+ project value experience
• Healthcare project experience
• Knowledge of all elements of commercial construction and understanding of skilled trades.
• Skilled in field productivity, and project management software.
• Intermediate level of technological experience and attitude required.
• Excellent verbal, written skills.
• Ability to influence, negotiate and drive project schedules

• Extremely Reputable General Contractor with multitude of projects throughout the entire Austin area
• Established 30+ year Austin based General Contractor with a focus on Ground Up Mixed Commercial Projects with great relationships with subcontractors, architects, and owners gaining repeat business year after year
• Project ranges from $5 to $70 Million
• Project Focus of: Healthcare / Retail
• $400+ Million annual revenue
• Multiple Active projects with a large backlog of projects for the next couple of years
• 25+ top awards in the Healthcare / Retail space

• Base Salary ranging from: $90K- $130K
