Job description:

• Working for the nation’s largest educational builder in Austin, TX
• Strong pipeline of large valued K-12 & Higher Ed projects for years to come

• Develop and maintain the site logistics plan for the project.
• Review and assist in developing scopes of work for each subcontractor.
• Perform constructability reviews.
• Direct field operations to operate according to the “plan” and in an efficient manner.
• Conduct foreman’s meetings.
• Participate in progress meetings with the team and or owners.
• Follow up on RFIs, submittals, as-builts and changes.
• Administering the safety program for the project.
• Conducting and ensuring quality control in accordance with the established project quality assurance program.

• Minimum 4-8+ Years as a Construction Superintendent with a focus on Ground Up Educational K-12 & Higher Education Projects
• Project experience in Education or Municipality is a MUST
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but NOT required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel.
• Ability to read and understand technical specifications, blueprints, technical manuals, product/material installation instructions and engineering/architectural drawings.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

• 86 year established and TX based Commercial General Contractor with a focus on ground up Educational K-12 & Higher Education projects
• $1.3B in yearly revenue
• 25+ offices across 10 other states with over 1,200 employees
• Project scopes will range from $25-$120 Million
• Education, Healthcare, and other Mixed Commercial Projects

• Base Salary ranging from: $110K – $140K
• Vehicle Allowance ranging from: $500 – $800 per month
• Inclusive Full Benefits – Health, Dental, Vision
• Bonus Structure ranging from: $15k – $30K
• PTO – 2 1/2 weeks
