Job description: SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for Lumpers in Dallas, TX. Lumpers are responsible for moving product with a forklift or pallet jack from trailer to another area of the warehouse dock during receiving process.
SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temporary employees are offered competitive compensation ($7.25/HR) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).
Available shifts include 7:30am-4:00pm Mon-Fri. Must be available to come in early, stay late, and be open to weekends when needed.
Bonus Earnings:A Lumper can usually load a truck within 2-3 hours on average. Potential for a $200-300 a day bonus!INBOUND LUMPERS: $100 per container (OFF LOAD)OUTBOUND LUMPERS: $115 FTL LOADS
Responsibilities of Lumpers:-Observe all safety regulations and ensure all quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. -Functions as a team member within the department and organization,
-Move product from trailer to appropriate dock staging area in a safe, efficient manner.
-Sort and segregate pallets / product, as necessary.
-Check product for damages and alert receivers, if necessary.
-Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications of Lumpers:-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and switch between tasks quickly when asked
-Strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and attention to detail
-Ability to stand for long hours throughout shift
-Ability to understand process specifications and use them to complete the assigned task.
-Excellent communication skills
