Pay Rate: $92Planet Interactive is seeking a Product Designer to join one of our well-known global Software clients.JOB DESCRIPTION: As a Product Designer on the Platform team, you will improve internal developer experience by focusing on the tools and workflows that help developers write and discover documentation. You will help identify pain points for internal users, design improvements, and work with a cross-functional team to deliver updates to internal tools.ResponsibilitiesInteraction Design; Define highly durable, company standard UX solutions for challenging problems. Prioritize critical details in the UI.
Visual Design; Consistently practice advanced use of visual design skills. Articulate why a visual treatment does or doesn’t work at a very detailed level.
Customer Focus; Create experiences that are useful and usable for internal customers and consider their needs. Drive lightweight research activities by user testing prototypes, and modify solutions based on insights about customers.
Collaboration; Help break down silos within and across functions and influence others to reach the best outcome. Engage in productive conflict with thoughtful questioning and have the courage to state your point of view.
Execution; Work with partners in the Design team to ensure that the quality of craft execution and our design practices are to high standards. Partner with cross-functional peers within the Platform org to deliver improvements to customers.
Ownership; Drive execution of your design projects and ensure work is delivered on time, to a high degree of quality. When you encounter barriers, you unblock yourself and your immediate team.Skills:
Requirements5-8+ years experience in a senior Individual Contributor role.
Experience building products in a remote or distributed team environment.
Demonstrated portfolio of shipping amazing customer experiences that have made a significant impact on business and customer metrics
