Job description: Austin, TX is hiring RNs! This is a Psych/Behavioral Health facility working with patients with intellectual disabilities.Duties: Passing meds, assessments, charting, Patient Care, Overseeing LPNsNeed: Psych RN with minimum 1 year experienceMust have no past misdemeanors or past discipline on licenseLocation: Austin, TXLength of Contract: 26 weeksShifts:
- 2:45pm-11:15pm, every other weekend off
- 6:45am-11:15pm, Saturdays and Sundays
This schedule can optionally commit to an additional 8-hour shift on a weekdayJob Duties:
- Work involves providing for the assessment, care and treatment of patients
- Perform computer data entry – Receive full training
- Administers medications, immunizations, and treatment and observes individuals for unusual symptoms and reactions
Job Requirements for all candidates:
- Must be licensed RN and able to practice in Texas
- Preferably 2+ years as a direct care nurse
- Charge nurse or supervisory experience is preferred
- Experience needs to be hospital acute care, LTC, community clinics, public health, etc. (not Home Health or School Nurse)
