Job description: As the Food and Beverage (F&B) Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for maintainingand replenishing break room supplies across all Austin, TX sites. Responsibilities includepurchasing food, beverages, and other supplies, stocking shelves, and managing inventory.Additionally, you will provide ad hoc support to the Facilities team including assisting in eventsetup, package delivery, and other miscellaneous tasks as needed. Daily tasks involve lifting,bending, and twisting while stocking products. \nResponsibilities
- Maintain/stock all food, beverages, and other supplies in breakrooms
- Clean coffee machines daily and restock supplies
- Compile inventory for food and beverage items such as consumption rate, stock on hand, and expiration date tracking to determine the need for replenishment
- Assist with inventory count processes to ensure accurate reporting of stock levels
- Monitor inventory levels to provide notification to F&B management for re-orders
- Assist in administrative functions including entering purchase orders and tracking merchandise and costs
- Weekly shopping trips using the company vehicle
- Ad hoc responsibilities may include event setup, package delivery, and building inspections
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Experience with inventory counts
- Experience with inventory management software and Excel a plus
- Strong basic mathematics skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and with a team
- Customer service background or previous service industry experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license and maintain a clear driving record
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs
- Able to bend, stretch, and twist
- Able to stand for long periods
