Job description: *The ideal candidate would be co-located with our Director of Inclusion & Diversity in our Austin, TX office.*If you’re passionate about making the world a safer, more sustainable, and more resourceful place, join us.Role Overview:Assist in creating, building, and managing inclusion and belonging programs that will be the foundation for advancing I&D around the world. This role will report directly to the Director of Inclusion & Diversity and is responsible for being a strategic partner in the development of I&D programs while driving the compliance and programs where the data is required for implementing a holistic program. This will include partnering with business leaders, customers, government agencies and other internal and external partners. This role will be highly collaborative and the successful candidate should not be afraid to challenge the status quo, influencing change, while ensuring Itron is compliant with all regulatory and customer requirements.Role will Drive:

• Assist in creating and implementing a holistic, global, enterprise-wide I&D strategy applying macro-trends, research, analysis, and benchmarks that reflects and addresses the needs and approaches in different markets.
• Support operationalization of organizational I&D strategies, within the context of geographic and business dynamics.
• Serve as a thought leader inside and where appropriate outside the organization on all aspects of I&D, bringing innovative ideas and best practices to Itron.
• Identify new programs or initiatives that reflect the best expertise in this space; from increasing representation to ensuring we have an inclusive equitable culture that truly reflects our values and cultural tenets.

• Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Program (subject to change); Global Employee Resource Group (ERG) Program; Artificial Intelligence (AI) journey from an inclusion and diversity viewpoint; stand up an alumni relations program.
• Develop and execute employee enablement and training strategies.

Qualifications:

• Experience in HR, I&D, or other related fields;
• Thought leadership and understanding of inclusion and belonging discipline;
• Extensive collaborative skills that enable solid levels of influence at all levels without direct reporting structure and/or authority;
• Strong project and program management skills, with expertise in building, managing and scaling complex programs that involve significant change management, high-profile outcomes and multiple organizational partners;
• Ability to balance passion, creativity with critical thinking and data-driven reports for affirmative action plans and other reporting aspects to assist with making positive decisions and recommendations to build and deliver on Itron’s inclusion strategy;
• Excellence in communication (both verbal and written), training and presentation facilitation to various audiences and levels;
• Strong cultural awareness and ability to effectively collaborate with business leaders from global regions; and,
• Understand and partner with multiple functions across the organization such as Talent Acquisition, HRIS, and Organizational Development to assist in driving change.
