## Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of our cloud infrastructure and related systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our cloud-based systems are secure, scalable, and reliable. We are looking for someone passionate about technology and who enjoys solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment.
## Duties
1. Design, build, and maintain secure, efficient, and reliable cloud infrastructure using industry best practices.
2. Implement and manage cloud environments in accordance with company guidelines, policies, and practices.
3. Collaborate with software, automation, cloud engineers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment and operation of the GPUaaS infrastructure and customer facing systems.
4. Monitor infrastructure and applications, proactively identify issues, and implement appropriate solutions.
5. Automate and streamline operations and processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
6. Conduct regular security assessments and implement security best practices.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in test and production environments.
8. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends related to cloud computing.
9. Ability to interact and work with customers to resolve complex issues and introduce new capabilities and technology.
10. Other appropriate duties as assigned.
## Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Proven experience as a Cloud, HPC, Automation Engineer or similar role in designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure including GPU Complute, HPC, High-speed networking and storage.
3. Strong understanding of cloud networking principles (VPC, VPN, DNS, ssh tunneling, etc.).
4. Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Slurm, Kubernetes).
5. Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash, etc.).
6. Solid understanding of linux and unix operating systems.
7. Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
##Preferred Qualifications
1. Certification in cloud technologies or relevant areas.
2. Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and bare metal deployments.
3. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
4. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana).
5. Experience with databases and data management in cloud environments.
6. Experience with basic Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook/email).
