You will plan, develop, and implement policies, assess and track procedures, oversee budgets and resources, manage quality initiatives, and educational programs, and serve on governance councils to achieve goals.What You’ll Do
- Establish and share your vision for nursing practices within the unit.
- Work closely with supervisors and nursing staff to reach department goals, with teamwork being key to success.
- Prioritize a positive work environment, ensuring the establishment of effective processes and protocols to foster best nursing practices and research.
- Encourage the growth of each team member, facilitating their professional development in both clinical skills and leadership capabilities.
- Stay informed on new nursing research, best practices, and patient care models.
- Identify and address any ethical or clinical issues that may arise as a proactive problem solver.
What Will Make You Successful In The Role
- Familiarity and proficiency in nursing procedures and patient care standards.
- Knowledge of regulations, laws, and rules, as well as certification and accreditation guidelines. Familiarity with hospital standards and department policies related to nursing care.
- Basic computer skills, including office software, information security, scheduling/payroll systems, patient record management, and email use.

- Prior OR Leadership experience at Supervisor or Manager level required
- Bachelors degree, preferably in Nursing
- A minimum of three years’ prior experience in a relevant role is required
- The candidate must be a registered nurse
- Basic life support certification, or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire, is essential for this role
Expected salary: $63648 – 102960 per year
