Come join us!Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct surveys and inspections for asbestos-containing materials and lead-based paint
- Perform asbestos and lead-based paint abatement monitoring
RequirementsMinimum Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license required as field work and local site travel is required
- Can be Entry-level with no experience, prefer 1-5 years’ experience conducting asbestos surveys/monitoring and/or lead-based paint inspections
- Will be required upon hire to obtain an Ohio Asbestos Hazard Evaluation Specialist and/or Asbestos Hazard Abatement Specialist
- Will be required upon hire to complete 40-hour HAZWOPER training. Consider a plus if already obtained and up to date.
Technical Requirements:
- Must be able to enter, record, store, or maintain information in written or electronic form
- Possess a good understanding of trade and technical terminology
- Communicate with clients, contractors and staff effectively and professionally
- Should be able to effectively manage time and prioritize projects with minimal supervision to meet established deadlines
- Should have competent computer knowledge including Microsoft Office (NEPA, FERC etc.)
Other Miscellaneous Qualities:
- B.S. in a related environmental field
- Experience with air sample microscopy analysis by Phase Contrast Microscopy (PCM)
- Experience with radon and/or mold
