The successful candidate for this position will be performing advanced level technical, engineering, and administrative work supporting engineers and project managers in functional areas of roadway/bridge construction and rehabilitation projects. Come join us!Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Project responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Reviewing and processing progress and final construction reports and construction contract modifications;

Monitoring and reporting Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) and Equal Employment * Opportunity requirements for compliance;

  • Reviewing plans for constructability;
  • Reviewing and approving subcontract agreements as required;
  • Attending project related meetings;
  • Reviewing and processing documentation for project close-out.

RequirementsMinimum requirements:

  • Civil Engineering Technology degree or Construction Management degree and five (5) years of road and bridge construction and/or maintenance engineering and inspection experience; or
  • High School Diploma or GED and ten (10) years of road & bridge construction and/or maintenance engineering and inspection experience.

Technical requirements:

  • Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative.
  • Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize – Efficiency in time management. * Strong Organizational skills.

  • Ability to anticipate and plan for client’s needs to meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Professional and timely communication with staff, clients, and other project team members both internal and external.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
