• Work with Contract Lead to administer and monitor contract performance on government contracts
• Review Purchase orders (PO) for contractual and/or applicable quoted prices
• Request shipping lead times and analyze them before PO acknowledgment to the customer
• Create funding projects POs
• Coordinate all international POs and DRS’ export official
• Update required reports and provide to customers and internal team members in weekly status meetings
• Work with Contract Lead to track and monitor contract performance and delivery schedule
• Provide support for the negotiation and administration of agreements between the company/customers/subcontractors/vendors ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
• Responsible for reviewing standard contract solicitation terms, handling contract award confirmations, reviewing agreements and amendments/modifications, identifying potential issues and incorporating changes under the advisement and direction of the Contracts Lead
• Work with Contracts Lead to review contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements, identify risks and areas of concern on contract terms and conditions
• Respond to standard inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions
• Assist/support fulfillment of contract deliverables, billings, and cash collections
• Prepare standard commercial price list proposals
• Assist in preparing routine non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and other contractual agreements
• Under direction, prepare contractual documents, including the preparation of contract terms and conditions, and assemble contract documentation package
• Participate in management review of proposals/contracts and in the conduct of program reviews
• Develop and maintain effective business relationships with commercial, international and domestic customers, as required
• Support, communicate, reinforce and defend DRS’ mission, values and culture
• Perform special projects as requested

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Masters degree program in Business, Accounting, or Finance
• MA/MS is highly desirable
• Current standing must be a Junior, Senior or Graduate student with a minimum of 3.0GPA
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to solve various business complex problems
• Work effectively as a member of a team
• Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite,)
