This position is for an individual with at least 8 years of experience in Bridge / Structural Engineering interested in working on building and bridge design projects. - Will design complete projects such as buildings, hydraulic structures, Civil Structures, and vehicular bridges
- Will manage production of construction drawings for own work
- Will review contractor submittals during construction
- Will manage project budgets
- Will coordinate effort with clients as well as in-house engineers and architects
- Will assist in training less experienced staff
- Will provide CAD assistance when necessary
Senior Bridge Engineer (PE) Senior Project Manager – Structural Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
- Master’s Degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering with a Structural emphasis or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree preferred
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in Bridge / Structural Engineering Bridge and Building Design
- EIT Certification in Texas is required
- PE License in Texas, or able and willing to obtain within 6 months of starting date
- Experience managing structural design and plan production
- MicroStation, Revit or AutoCAD training is a plus
