Job description: About the Role:Our Foundry Team is seeking a Senior-to-Principal (Level 7) Backend/Cloud Software Engineer, to help build out platform products which deliver no-code security application development, configuration and deployment at fingertips’ reach.Foundry a(n external facing) Low-Code/No-Code App-Building Product allowing users to design, configure and deploy custom security applications from the ground up with a series of clean, simple drop-down menus allowing selection of features, runtime and more. Select from a variety of features, logic and workflows to design something 100% new, or pair existing applications with additional custom functionality offered by the Falcon Platform. This product among our most popular modules with external users.Your passion and meticulous attention to performance, reliability and scalability will be key ingredients to your success here at CrowdStrike. The team has one of the most critical roles to play in ensuring our products are best-in-class in the industry. You will interact with product managers and other engineers in building both internal and external facing services.What You’ll Do:Design and build highly scalable and resilient distributed services and systemsWork with industry-leading technologies like Apache Kafka, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Redis and moreWork on cross-team platform-level initiatives and projectsTroubleshoot critical production issues and implement solutionsWhat You’ll Need:Experienced building streaming platforms at scale (Note: We process over a trillion events per day)6-10+ years of relevant work experience building backend software with a SaaS delivery model4+ years of recent experience building an event-driven, microservices-oriented architectureExpert knowledge of any of the following backend languages: Go, Scala, Java, Kotlin, Node.jsProven expertise in building distributed systems, micro services, REST APIsProduction experience with commercial clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP)BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experienceDeveloping applications using SQL and No-SQL databasesBonus Points:Contributed to the open source community (GitHub, Stack Overflow, blogging)Master’s degree in computer science or related fieldGolang experiencePrior experience with cybersecurity#LI-MP1#LI-DG1#LI-Remote PandoLogic.
