Supports new product development, sustaining products and product/sub-assembly transfers to other sites or suppliers. Primary responsibility is to load Item Masters, BoM and Routing using information shared from Estimating, Programming and Project Engineers to Oracle ERP system. Interface with Design, MFG Project Engineering, Program Management, Estimating, Purchasing, Planning and other cross-functional team members.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES:Lead NPI projects from induction to deliveryOptimize existing production processesOptimize / fool proof existing machining processesdrive cost reduction by enhancing manufacturing processHelp estimation team when needed for new projectsPerform Time StudiesCompare actual Setup and Run times vs quoted timesImplement ECO changes in OraclePerform lot size changes as applicablePractice LEAN techniques and be able to participate/ facilitate Lean Kaizens.Apply Quality steps to routing as required. (Data recording, special inspection, FAI etc…)EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:BS Degree in Engineering preferred.Minimum of 10 years’ experience in CNC Machining and assemblyknowledge of fabrication tools and equipment.Expert in various types of finishing and outside processes.Expert in CAD /CAM packagesProficiency in Windows applications, (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills are required.Good communication skills.
