A place where you can bring innovation to life.As an IBM Marketing Intern, you’ll work collaboratively, driving work that addresses a strategic business challenge facing our team: helping to turn our vast collection of content into an easily understandable system that supports our visitors’ key needs. In addition to your daily work, the internship includes educational, networking, and social activities. This is a highly visible intern program with leadership exposure and mentorship throughout the summer.This role supports our internal creative team, Blue Studio, which is responsible for the strategic evolution and expression of the IBM brand across every experience and encounter, internally and externally. Our work crosses nearly every category of output: research and strategy, communications and content development, symbology and systems, digital and physical experiences, and tools and training. Our goal is to maintain modernity, sophistication, and tangibility, and to promote understanding of the IBM brand in the world. The Blue Studio video practice is looking for a highly motivated Production Assistant to join our in-house video production studio. You’ll be responsible for working to create cohesive video experiences for various forms of online content. The work will range from helping to produce fully developed storyboards to creating your own unique work based on your own creative decision making.Your primary responsibilities will be to help:
- Produce and execute projects from conception and design through execution with strong post-production workflow sensibilities.
- Collaborate with the creative team, various experts, leaders, and marketing partners to understand project objectives and requirements.
- Produce deliverables from online and multimedia by creative videos that vary in length.
- Help produce video footage to create engaging, thought-provoking, and cohesive final products, incorporating sound, graphics, and special effects as needed.
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of all video content.
- Bring abstract concepts to life.
- Contribute to style guides, UI toolkits, and other design documents, as needed.
- Effectively communicate conceptual ideas and detailed design rationale both verbally and visually.
- Stay up-to-day with latest producing techniques and industry trends.
This role is based in Austin, TX.IBM will not be providing Visa sponsorship for these positions now or in the future. Therefore, to be considered for this position, you must have the ability to work without a need for current or future Visa sponsorship.Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Currently enrolled in an accredited University
- Available for an internship in Summer 2025
- Rising senior for the 2025-2026 school year
