Job description: About the team & opportunityWhat’s so great about working on Calendly’s People team? Well, we are looking for a People Generalist to join our People team who will bring HR generalist knowledge, HRIS experience and background in end-to-end project management & execution. You will report to the Senior Manager, People Operations and will be responsible for acting in a generalist capacity to support the people business partner and people operations team.A day in the life of a People Generalist at CalendlyOn a typical day, you will be working on:

  • People Help Desk: Actioning and routing tickets that come through the People Help Center, including responding to employee questions related to comp, benefits, employee services, completing verifications of employment, etc.
  • Workday & People Systems: Enter in a high volume of Workday transactions; design and run Workday reports and analytics; perform HRIS data integrity audits; serve as an administrator & assist in optimizing processes for people tech systems
  • Cross-functional partnership: Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams, including payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, people business partners, employee experience, procurement, IT & more
  • Support projects: Support People team projects & initiatives, including collaborating, planning, executing stages; will include regular audits related to compliance, data integrity, etc.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support as needed, including mail merges

What do we need from you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR or related roles.
  • Bonus: experience with Asana & project management
  • Strong soft skills with ability to maintain positive cross-functional relationships, collaborating with all levels of employees & internal stakeholders
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time

All full-time (30 hours/week) employees are also eligible for our Quarterly Corporate Bonus program (or Sales incentive), equity awards, and .Calendly uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location, or the onsite building location if hybrid, to determine which metropolitan pay range we use. Current geographic zones are as follows:

  • Tier 1: San Francisco, CA, San Jose, CA, New York City, NY
  • Tier 2: Chicago, IL, Austin, TX, Denver, CO, Boston, MA, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, PA, Portland, OR, Seattle, WA, Miami, FL, and all other cities in CA.
  • Tier 3: All other locations not in Tier 1 or Tier 2

Tier 1 Salary$97,000—$131,000 USDTier 2 Salary$88,900—$120,100 USDTier 3 Salary$80,800—$109,200 USD

Expected salary: $97000 – 131000 per year
