Job description: Position Summary:Vista Equity Partners is seeking an IT Support Technician Intern for Summer 2025. In this 10-week paid internship, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience providing Tier 1 tech support and troubleshooting for in-office and remote users.Our 2025 Summer program will be based in our Austin, TX office. Exceptional interns may be considered for full-time roles following graduation. Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for end users seeking technical assistance.
• Assist with in-person and remote troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques.
• Support Tier 1 & 2 issues and escalate to senior technicians when needed.
• Participate in field service activities, including equipment installs, repairs, and maintenance.
• Help with employee onboarding/offboarding, including setting up accounts, licenses, and equipment.
• Support IT inventory management and suggest improvements to processes.
• Collaborate with the IT team to deliver exceptional service and maintain documentation.
• Occasional lifting of equipment (up to 50lbs) and bending/climbing for cable access.

Qualifications:

• Expected Graduation of Spring 2026 with a Bachelor or Associate degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, MacOS), Microsoft technology (Active Directory, M365, Azure), and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow).
• Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and scripting languages (PowerShell, Python).
• Strong communication skills and a customer-service-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality, professional service.
