The selected candidate must have a current/valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record.PurposeTo assist the Utilities and Energy Management (UEM) power systems team with special projectsResponsibilitiesTo assist with journey-level installation, retrofit, repair, and maintenance of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems in an electrical generation and chill water production environment.Responsible for assisting with journey-level craftsmanship in the installation, retrofit, repair, and maintenance of circuit breakers, motors, motor starters, VFDs, soft-starters, PLC/DCS systems, UPS systems, ATS’s, lighting and other electrical, instrumentation and controls related items.Required QualificationsHigh school grad OR GED. Completion of a relevant technical trade school. 2 years of electrical installation experiencePreferred Qualifications2-years electrical installation experience in an industrial environmentDriving RequiredThis job requires a class “C” operator’s driver’s license. The applicant selected must provide a current three-year driving record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, a Texas driver’s license must be obtained within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident.
