Job Type: Full-timeJob Summary:The Public Relations Assistant will support the Public Relations team in executing effective communication strategies to enhance the public image and awareness of the company/brand. This individual will assist in managing media relations, preparing communications materials, coordinating events, and supporting social media initiatives.Key Responsibilities:

• Media Relations Support: Assist in building and maintaining relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and other media outlets.
• Press Materials: Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, media kits, and other promotional materials as required.
• Event Coordination: Help plan and organize press conferences, promotional events, and other PR activities.
• Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, media opportunities, and potential partnerships.
• Administrative Support: Manage PR databases, media contact lists, and calendars. Coordinate schedules for PR-related activities and meetings.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Track media coverage, compile reports, and analyze the success of PR campaigns.
• Crisis Communication: Assist the PR team in handling crisis communication tasks when necessary.
• Brand Promotion: Help ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication channels.

Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Proficiency with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Familiarity with PR tools such as Cision, Meltwater, or similar platforms
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
• Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Expected salary: $17.8 – 24 per hour
