Job description: Ceshker Group Title is a title office with its principal office located in Austin, TX. We are looking for a committed, long-term Escrow Assistant to join our team. If you are seeking an opportunity to advance your career in a professional environment with plenty of room for growth, then look no further. We require two years of recent experience in Texas as an Escrow Assistant or Junior Escrow Officer at a law firm or title office. This role requires full-time work, Monday through Friday with some overtime required. This is not a remote position. The salary range is commensurate with experience.Responsibilities:
- Some knowledge of the front, middle, and back end of escrow
- Complete funding tasks such as ensuring all funds are disbursed accurately
- Comply with all state and federal laws governing escrow transactions and escrow accounts
- Prepare and send out closing packages to buyers, sellers, brokers, attorneys, and lenders
- Adhere to all terms and conditions of the purchase agreement and monitor the progress of all assigned files
- Interact and coordinate with industry contacts such as realtors, loan officers, underwriters, brokers, buyers, and sellers
- Ensure all terms and conditions of the assigned closing tasks are being completed timely and accurately
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required — prior relevant experience or college degree preferred
- At least two years of experience with residential sales, REO, refinance, short sale escrow, or commercial closings
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Thorough understanding of title insurance and the associated processes
