Job description: Job descriptionDynamic RF Engineer – Microelectronics in Austin, TXAre you passionate about pushing the boundaries of analog radio frequency and low-phase noise designs? We’re seeking an RF Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. As our RF Engineer – Microelectronics, you’ll be instrumental in advancing our oscillator products and technologies, identifying manufacturing challenges, and implementing solutions for continuous improvement.Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and debug RF circuits, including amplifiers, detectors, mixers, couplers, and filters.
- Design and implement testing strategies using Automated Test Procedures.
- Prepare and submit Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for new and existing designs.
- Source suitable substitutions for end-of-life components to ensure product availability.
- Provide technical guidance to technicians.
- Conduct root cause analysis for customer returns and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze measured data to identify opportunities for product performance enhancement.
- Ensure compliance with EMC/EMI requirements and IPC industry standards in design methods.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
Experience:
- 2-4 years of prior experience with RF and microwave circuits.
- MUST HAVE RF Microchip Design Experience.
Other Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity software.
- Experience with Altium Design, Keysight Genesys, Atlassian Jira, and Confluence is a plus.
- Familiarity with RF test equipment such as Signal or Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Signal Generators.
- Digital design skills and familiarity with analog electronic circuit designs.
- Experience in RF tests and measurements.
- Strong organizational, presentation, and writing skills.
- Effective communication with technical and non-technical staff.

Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, use hands to handle objects, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Benefits:
- Healthcare: Coverage begins on the 1st of the month following your hire date. We contribute over 75% towards benefits, with options such as the Employee HSA $6350 PLAN starting at a low bi-weekly contribution of $54.
- 401K: Eligible for auto-enrollment. Qualified matching contributions allowed, with a match formula of 100% of Elective Deferral Contributions not over 3% of pay, plus 50% of Elective Deferral Contributions over 3% but not over 5% of pay. Catch-up contributions matched. Immediate entry into the plan with a vesting schedule of 1 Year = 33%, 2 Years = 66%, 3 Years = 100%.
